IRESS, the leading supplier of technology for wealth management, financial markets and the mortgage industry has rolled out the latest version of XPLAN, its integrated software for wealth managers and financial planning professionals.
As part of the latest software update IRESS has launched XPLAN iAssist to further strengthen its support to XPLAN users.
iAssist allows XPLAN users globally to grant an IRESS support team member temporary and secure access to their individual XPLAN session within a few seconds. Users will be able to securely-generate a unique token within XPLAN, which won’t require the exchange of any username and password details. The new functionality allows IRESS to rapidly respond in real-time and in a transparent, secure and efficient way, without the limitations and frustrations of screen-sharing software installations. The integrity of client and user data is ensured with all activity logged in a secure audit trail.
The service can be easily deactivated and reactivated as needed.
Mark Loosmore, UK Executive General Manager (Wealth), IRESS said: “iAssist balances our desire to further improve user experience, help clients continue to increase business efficiency and ensure the security of our systems and services are beyond reproach. We’ve delivered an efficient solution that further strengthens our support service proposition. All the improvements we’ve delivered in this latest update of XPLAN, and previous updates, are designed to help advisers plan more effectively and efficiently. Having the right technology with the right customer service in place is essential. We will continue to deliver practical improvements to our products that make a tangible difference and deliver cost efficiencies to our clients.”
In May this year IRESS held its third global Hackathon, a collaborative project that generates creative solutions to solve real problems for clients. This year 347 ideas were submitted and taken forward by 161 IRESS teams, who designed, coded and built them as far as possible over 24 hours. XPLAN iAssist is just one of the ideas that were taken forward into live production.
Andrew Todd, IRESS CTO, said: “iAssist was a winning combination of insight, idea and action.
“It’s been brilliant to see the high quality ideas and work from this year’s Hackathon progressing steadily through production. Watch this space as we progress other great customer focused projects.”
